We are an academic leadership program focusing on 3 core elements:

1.  Impacting the lives of our fellows.
2. Creating awareness for our subject matter.
3. Inspiring change in our world.

While each endeavor creates individual outcomes, collectively they fulfill our mission of empowering filmmakers, creatives and activists to inspire change.

The Experience: each summer, we select a team of passionate and talented individuals who are looking to add a practical and experiential application to their formal education. Each fellow is paired with one of our award winning mentors for the term of the fellowship to build an entire media driven environment and documentary film focused on a single issue, cause or story facing our world today.

our fellows will face a wide range of challenges that personally and professionally invoke passion, character and leadership. Framed by our values, passions and ideals, the fellowship will blend their interdisciplinary backgrounds to best capture and express their findings, experiences and outcomes through film and the arts.

The focus of the 2016 film: This year, our field expedition is taking us on location to Namibia, Africa, where we will be creating a short film, focused on the life of a conservationist and wildlife activist Aleksandra Orbek-Nilssen and her work with the indigenous Ju/'hoan San Tribe. Focusing our lens and education on how a tribe considered to be one of the world's oldest cultures are currently leading efforts to preserve Namibia's most coveted natural habitats, while fighting to preserve their own cultural ecosystems.
